Where did it all begin?

Lets start with the Committee Minute Book of May 2nd 1919

Club Name

The club was originally called Newton Abbot Otter Swimming Club N.A.O.S.C

Membership subscription

Membership was open to anyone, for the subscription of one shilling per annum.
( That's 5p in today's money)

Devon A.S.A Affiliation

The Club would become affiliated to the Devon County Amateur Swimming Association

The Opening Dip

The first club organised swimming would be on the 31st May 1919 at 3-45PM at Torquay Swimming Baths
